You need a good diet for a proper six pack. You also need the muscle there. People lose body fat, and say "where is my six pack?", but not of them realise that they have simply lost weight, and fat, but gained no muscle. I'd cut the sit ups down massively. Do a proper full body workout in the gym, heavy weights, and make sure you do your legs. Your legs are the largest muscles in your body, and your muscles are what get rid of fat. Also, you're diet is important. Make sure you're eating clean, and also not excessive on the carbs. No sugar, white bread, fizzy drinks, the lot. Make sure you're eating plenty of protein too. It'll take months for a proper six pack.
