the double standards from most religious leaders. they give all the orders and everybody has to obey but they do not set the example by doing it first. jesus christ had every right to expect his disciples to obey him, since first he set the example. he didn't just say "go make disciples", he first went and made disciples. he set the standard for a high code of conduct. even though he was perfect, he expected the same conduct from his disciples. showing that human beings do not have to be perfect to be capable of decent human behavior.

If a man cheats, "He's a scumbag asshole who just couldn't keep it in his pants!" If a woman cheats, she "strayed," and my personal favorite, "Fell into the arms of another man!" So she slipped, fell, and the dude who picked her up happened to be hot, hung, and naked!
