This is the Question of the Week.
-
No he'll be a redneck with dredlocks
-
I bet he'll be the person we least expect. Like a beggar or a child.
-
He will return as a thief in the night, no one will know neither the time nor the place. I do wonder if he will still be Jewish, maybe a change in race would do him some good??
-
Hagee is delusional. The Bible doesn't tell us how Christ will return, only that he will. It also goes on to say "no man will know the hour of his return".
-
I don't think anyone knows--but it certainly is a possibility. Does Hagee cite his sources?
-
Thanks to the Reverend John Hagee someone somewhere on seeing a Rabbi with earlocks and wearing a beard and a skullcap might end up staring at his face and having a strong urge to ask him 'excuse me sir, you're not Jesus by any chance are you?'
-
Well, Jesus is niether Jew nor Gentile, He is God. In the rapture He will be in His glorified state. When He returns to the Jews He will speak through two prophets (witnesses). Those two witnesses will be Jewish.
-
first of all, he returns in the sense that he will direct his attention to earthly matters. jesus is not literally coming back. he had a mission to complete as a human here on earth, and once he accomplished his mission he returned to the heavens with his father as a spirit. he resides as a spirit second in power only to his father. (1corinthians 11:3)in the heavens he sits at his throne, and when he returns in the sense that he brings judgement to the nations, the bible describes him as a warrior. revelation describes him in symbolic terms like this: and i saw the heaven opened, and, look! a white horse. and the one seated upon it is called faithful and True, and he judges and carries on war in righteousness. his eyes are a fiery flame, and upon his head are many diadems. he has a name written that no one knows but he himself, and he is arrayed with an outer garment sprinkled with blood, and the name he is called is the Word of God,...and out of his mouth there protrudes a sharp long sword, that he may strike the nations with it, and he will shepherd them with a rod of iron. he treads too the winepress of the anger of the wrath of God the Almighty. and upon his outer garment, even upon his thigh, he has a name written, King o kings and Lord of lords." (revelation 19:11-13,15,16)
-
Islamics are told He will return to lead the Muslims.
-
During his earthly ministry Jesus did not allow himself to be constrained by Jewish doctrine. When he comes again I don't imagine he will allow his appearance to be constrained by modern Jewish customs either.
-
When Jesus returns, no one will have time to consider how he is dressed. Jewish ultra conserivative modes of dress have changed considerably since his ascendance into heaven, and it really doesn't matter what he physically looks like, or what mode he dresses in.
-
No... Most likely he'll be a hippie outcast, hated by everyone... Just like the FIRST time!
-
I don't think it matters, to be honest with you. Yes Jesus is a Jewish rabbi, But He is also the king of Kings. maybe He'll be wearing a priestly robe. Maybe we should focus less on trivial stuff and more on the things that matter????
-
Jesus was born into and raised by Jews, descendants of Judah, the Davidic,Messianic lineage...HE was a Rabbi, which means teacher....I am sure HE will look the same as HE did when HE Ascended if comes in human form ..but teaching? no, that's done, all been taught...the Reverand should be careful of adding what is not necessary and speculation....God forbids it..adding to or taking from....HE gave us all we need..no one can answer all ..such as ,where did God bury Moses, where did Melchizedek come from? where did HE take Elijah in the whirlwind?i just want to know what to know what Jesus did the 3 days in middle of the earth? i am told but have to do further study, that HE was appearing to all from Old Testament to New that had died and giving chance to them to Accept the Messiah!! makes sense but , i gotta reason with it first....:)justme

NO! He will return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, of the increase of his Kingdom and of peace there will be no end. Right now he serves God the Father as OUR High Priest, not some simple rabbi. During his entire life Jesus criticized the Jewish priesthood, he called them snake and tombs: nice on the outside but inside full of dead mens bones and rotting filth.
