The word 'alien' means 'other'. So, properly speaking, we know that aliens exist. Dogs and cats are alien to humans. UFO's are Unidentified Flying Objects. If you see an aircraft or bird you don't recognize, it's a UFO. If you are asking about extra-terrestrial life, we know from the Bible that they existed before man did. To what extent they are responsible for ufo's we can't say. Clearly, not all UFO's are truly mysterious, certainly not spacecraft. To answer your question, no. For one thing, some UFO's can be explained, at which point they become IFO's. Beyond that, ask yourself who would travel light years to pull pranks on a bunch of savages. It's just not in the budget. This may not be the answer you were hoping for, but i hope it helps.

Ok, assuming aliens exist -- my answer is that ufo sightings are indeed pranks. The pranks are sent by the all time great deceiver who is also the author of confusion. The Bible speaks of these things.

Assuming they exist, i'd guess some were pranks to freak us out or test our reactions.

We ARE aliens when we leave this planet! Are we pranking other planets or are we doing research? I like to think they have the access to energy that allow them to travel millions of light years to F*&^ with us but I think theres probably more to it than we'll ever know.
