Yes, Mondays always seem to be here too soon. I once had a work schedule that gave me Mondays off. It was fabulous not having to go back to work along with everyone else, and I would do that again in a heartbeat.

Not really, because if Mondays were part of the weekend then we'd all dread Tuesdays. Monday is not dreadful in itself, just the fact that it comes after the weekend. I think we all look forward to a Monday that happens to be an observed holiday and extends our weekend, don't we?

tell me why! I don't like mondays, I wanna shoot the whole day down (that's what boomtown rats sang) and i feel the same way but, a lot of enterprising things happen on the first day of the week at work and it doesn't help shooting the whole day down as one might as well shoot there whole career down in the process.

Yes, who ever came up with the 5:2 ratio on work to leisure days should have a special place in hell...who will join me in the revolution...a 4 day work week with a 3 day weekend (not 4/10s)? I'm sick of spending more time at work than at home!!!
