When a girl goes braless in a top that makes it obvious that she's braless, is she trying to get any guys attention? And if so, why do seem to take such offense when we look or comment?

One girl might want attention, one girl may appreciate subtle glances but not stares, one girl might be mortified if you look. We don't all come standardized. But it's a good rule to not comment on anyone's tits unless you've been asked, or she's your girlfriend, best friend, or a prostitute.

In the US I have always felt a sort of schizophrenia among a great many women: Please see me as a sexual, sexy, feminine, beautiful woman VS DON'T YOU DARE OBJECTIFY ME! I find it strange. In most of Europe we can admire and appreciate the beauty of a woman while at the same time knowing that her beauty isn't the sum total of her being. It's just the surface layer visual bit. So to reply to the question - A woman who is obviously bra-less in public may be wanting the appreciative attention but even if not - she should certainly expect it.
