Buddhists don't worship, they meditate.

Although we all acknowledge the existence of a "Great Maker", and although we believe that this God is everywhere, we look into ourselves via meditation, to find the part of this God that lives within us, then through ourselves and the God within, we find the path that leads us closer to the Great Maker. So, although we all have some basic similarities, we all also have individual differences that vary as much as each individual does. While Jews, Christians, & Muslims are brought together in congregations like a flock, with hopes of joining God after death, Buddhists are separated to "be alone with God" within themselves while they yet live. For a Buddhist, the path that leads to the "Reunion of Heaven and Man" and being one with the Great Maker, is a path that can be walked along and arrived at, by the living. http://www.dalailama.com/ .
