  • There are no seatbelts on busses because kids were hitting each other with them. But I do agree that the students should be strapped in.
  • It makes perfect financial sense. Cars already have seatbelts, so the government stepping on your neck if you don't wear it is FREE! But the vast quantity of school buses don't have seatbelts, so that would cost money. Lots of it. The government truly cares about your safety...as long as it doesn't cost anything.
