You'd think so. Positrolled to remove the negative rating given by an obvious religious nut.

well according to the bible I guess he made men so they could go to heaven and judge the angels..dont ask me why he didnt just make us all in heaven and let us be happy and stop with all the judging and damning and such.........go figure

God never said we would be angles in heaven.

Where in the Bible is that stated? The problem will not be the abundance of angels but the mortality of the human soul, since it is only a creation of brain activity. So, angels and gods will miss us for eternity.

not all people think they will go to heaven...the Bible tells of God numerous times REV. I am making all things new , a new heaven and a new earth? Jesus told the theif on the cross , today you will be with me in paradise...there is more but i reason God will make this earth the Paradise HE had intended it to be in the Beginning.... i do not have the hope of heaven, i have the hope of paradise...the heavenly ones in my reasoning are the 144,000 spoken of in Revelations.... and no , I am not a JW...I study on my own.....

Angels are not glorified human beings. Matthew 22:30 explains that they do not marry or reproduce like humans, and Hebrews 12:22-23 says that when we get to the heavenly Jerusalem, we will be met by “myriads of angels” and “the spirits of righteous men made perfect”—two separate groups. Angels are a company or association, not a race descended from a common ancestor (Luke 20:34-36). We are called “sons of men,” but angels are never called “sons of angels.” # They are stronger than man, but not omnipotent (Psalm 103:20; 2 Peter 2:11). # They are greater than man in knowledge, but not omniscient (2 Samuel 14:20; Matthew 24:36). # They are more noble than man, but not omnipresent (Daniel 9:21-23, 10:10-14). Angels can take on the appearance of men when the occasion demands. How else could some “entertain angels unaware” (Hebrews 13:2)? On the other hand, their appearance is sometimes in dazzling white and blazing glory (Matthew 28:2-4).

this is a very intelligent question, i commend you on your insight! the bible tells us that man was made to reside here on earth. earth was made for man, and man was made for earth. eons of eons of years before earth and most celestial bodies were created, the bible tells us that the angels already existed. when God finally created man here on earth the angels were in awe of his earthly creation. they were supposed to live happily on earth for all eternity. however, enter sin and disobedience and now there was an arrangement for SOME humans to go to heaven to comprise a number that will sit on thrones and judge mankind to determine who should live eternally on earth not in heaven. the idea that humans die and end up in heaven is not of bible origin but of non-scriptural origin. churches of christendom have taught that at death your soul survives and is sent either to heaven or a fiery hell. it is true that if Jehovah God needed another angel he could just create one instead of causing the death of a human to use as an angel, as some believe to be the case. for more information go to www.watchtower.org

"He that believes [ trusts, relies upon, places his full faith and confidence ] in me, though he dies, he shall still live." - Jesus of Nazereth

Possibly because that's what the Bible tells us??? But God isn't interested in 'more angels'. He's more into variety. Haven't you noticed?

Man *is* some of the angels that God made (the rest being those that refused to follow His plan, who are now known as “devils”). It’s not a question of needing more angels; it’s a question of our Eternal character and destiny. For more information on angels, see the Bible Dictionary and Guide to the Scriptures entries for “Angels” (http://tinyurl.com/3txls3). For more information on God’s plan for us, see the Church of Jesus Christ’s “Basic Beliefs” site (http://tinyurl.com/4hvlay). HTH!

Angels are not and never were people. According to the Bible people do not go to Heaven when they die. The Bible refers to 'those who are sleeping in Christ." Christians who die before Christ's return will "sleep in Christ" until His return and then "rise up to meet him in the sky."

the bible tells us of a place i don't really remember but when you live right according to the word of God when you die you don't go st8 to heaven. you go to a holding place . even people of the bible that have died r asking God when are you coming so we can enter your great kingdom. just like if you die you don't go st8 to burning for eternity. you go to a holding place as well...filled with demons that hate you so bad. because god made angels yes but he made humans in his image. and of course satan and his demons once you die will just torture you until God comes. Then you will die the so called second death and thats the lake of fire.

good one... i think he got sick of angels after he kicked the first one out for trying to jack him... god keeps a tight circle i bet

"Wouldn't God have made more angels if he needed more in the first place?" Why did the Asker think an all-knowing, all-powerful being would be motivated to create out of need?
-
No. I think the "free will" thing had sumthin' to do w/ it, if memory serves. ;-)
-
well, God promised us eternal life in the bible and God cant lie, now can he?

Angels and people are separate creations. People don't turn into angels when they die, that just happens in Tom and Jerry cartoons.
