You know, it kind of seems like a lot of major religions are really similar...not the same exactly, but with a lot of similarities. I wonder if they all came from the same place, like people, and just changed and evolved, like languages....like how lots of different languages came from Latin, sound similar, but aren't really the same anymore. I guess I don't think any relgion is really wrong, persay, just different. You should read this...it's an old one, but heck, it's so funny :) Dr. Schambaugh, of the University of Oklahoma School of Chemical Engineering, Final Exam question for May of 1997. Dr. Schambaugh is known for asking questions such as, "why do airplanes fly?" on his final exams. His one and only final exam question in May 1997 for his Momentum, Heat and Mass Transfer II class was: "Is hell exothermic or endothermic? Support your answer with proof." Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law or some variant. One student, however, wrote the following: "First, We postulate that if souls exist, then they must have some mass. If they do, then a mole of souls can also have a mass. So, at what rate are souls moving into hell and at what rate are souls leaving? I think we can safely assume that once a soul gets to hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for souls entering hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, then you will go to hell. Since there are more than one of these religions and people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all people and souls go to hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change in volume in hell. Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in hell to stay the same, the ratio of the mass of souls and volume needs to stay constant. Two options exist: If hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter hell, then the temperature and pressure in hell will increase until all hell breaks loose. If hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until hell freezes over. So which is it? If we accept the quote given to me by Theresa Manyan during Freshman year, "that it will be a cold night in hell before I sleep with you" and take into account the fact that I still have NOT succeeded in having sexual relations with her, then Option 2 cannot be true...Thus, hell is exothermic."

It would have to mean that.

If you look at a lot of religions they have some similaritys. Sometimes the little things are what devides us (not all the time obviously) I don't think just my religion is "right" or "wrong". I think ppl practice what makes them happy and satisfied and that is all we can do. No one will know until that day we all finally find out, which won't be any time soon so I will just do things my way and you can your way. I respect you, please respect me;)

My personal opinion is that God wanted us to join together to worship Him. He doesn't care what religion we are - only that we woship Him and love Him. Religions were established by man to enable them to woship God along with others so how could any one religion be the only true right one. God is bigger than any religion, and he loves us regardless of what "religion" we feel is right for us.

Not necessarily "wrong," but perhaps "incomplete."
-
If by "wrong" you mean "wrong in one or more aspect", then yes. If you mean "wronge in all aspects" then no.

It depends upon what you mean by 'Christianity'. If you mean the Christianity that was actually taught by Christ and practiced until approximately 300 AD, I think the answer would be "no". Christ's followers would look at you funny for asking such a question. If you mean Christianity as it has been taught since then... . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Council_of_Nicaea . then, yes, if one asserts that accepting Jesus as one's personal lord and savior is the only true religion, it sort of by definition means that all the others are "wrong".

Yes! (I know - ridiculous, eh?) ;-)
-
No. They just interpret things differently.
-
No religion is correct, since they were all created by man.
-
Based upon empirical reasoning it would but good thing my deductive reasoning doesn't work on absolutist terms.
-
Well, first Christianity would have to be correct.
