Why is it if you keep nail polish on your toe nails for too long,when you remove it,it leaves your nails a yellow colour!

Oh I HATE this! It's because the pigment from the varnish has soaked into the nail - yeuch!! You know they recommend that you use an undercoat on your fingernails? Well, do the same with your toenails, too... TOO LATE, she cried! But you know for later... ;)

Use a good base coat first and then a top coat on the color. Reds always leave your nails yellow. Also give your nails some breathing time every once in a while. Don't paint for a week or so. Let them see a lot of sunlight too.
