Do you think the Community leaders should also be given trophy just like other top contributors?

I do but it would be hard to display both badges unless it alternately blinked every 5 seconds or something like that. I'd be getting tired of that ☼sun☼ after a while but then the trophy would be boring after a while. Well, I get bored with the same thing after a while.

No. I think it's precisely the reason why they have a different badge - to announce to the world that they are Community Leaders. I think knowing who to ask for help (when it comes to crushing spammers, for example) is more important than knowing who the Top 10 users for the week are.

I just think more a genuine appreciation for the work they do and for their time and effort they put into AB might be a whole lot better

No. I like seeing the top ten contributors having the trophy, no need for CL's to have one.

The trophies show up at different times so we do get them, but y9ou won't see them in each post. I think it's best if people can see the CL badge and know we're there instead of how well we did last week. That's kind of meaningless to people. Whoever cares about the leaderboard can look at it. And whoever needs a CL can find one by seeing us online with the sunburst badge.

yes when they win one they should have one but also keep their identifiable sun CL tag as well. Or I think a CL should have a nice fancy frame around their avatar so they are easily seen and this way they could sport a deserving trophy when they indeed earn one.

No for then people will think its all about compition. I think all CL's don't need trophies but the respect they get is enough.
