Don't you find it silly when you see adults, educated people who believe that WWE or any other kind of professional wrestling is a real sport, not a staged show?

The WWE admits to it being staged, and makes no bones about that. Been like that for over 10 years. Still, it's kind of fun to 'play along,' if you know what I mean. Same as with a soap opera or movie, or anything else on TV for that matter. It's just more fun to play along is all.

i agree. why cant educated adults see that it is just a aggressive scary show with buff sweaty guys tackling each others! i hate the show!

Not really, no. I'm an ''educated adult'', and I had no clue it was staged until I read the answers affirming your statement. I don't follow wrestling at all, and I'm sure there are many educated adults who are the same. People are educated in different topics.

It drives my daughter crazy! Her boyfriend believes it's real, and he won't be told any different. I think he actually knows the difference, but just likes to annoy her. I can remember years ago, going to a wrestling match. After it was over, my friends and I went to a local resturant in another town. Shortly after, some of the wrestlers came in, ordered and all sat down together,chatting away. I guess they thought noone would recognize them, without their costumes. These were the same men, that were tearing each other apart an hour before. It's gotta make you think!

Yes, i've had many arguments with peoole that believe it's real including my brother. I give up, let them believe it. I only watch it for the gymnastic values, some of that takes some talent to do.

Those who believe it's real are not silly. They just don't know much about it. The wrestlers make it appear real.

To say professional wrestling is silly would mean I acknowledge it enough to consider it worthy of thought. This falls under the category of "nonsense". Having recognized it as nonsense, I save myself the effort of analyzing it because I know beforehand that whatever conclusion I arrive at would make no sense. Simply stated, you can't make sense of nonsense.
