I read pretty much everything except romance and sci-fi series type stuff. Lately, I've been on meds to sleep so I find myself unable to read without falling asleep very quickly, so I'm reading short stories and all of Dave Barry's books.

I like biographies and travelogues. I don't read them from cover to cover though. I just read some chapters from time to time. Blame TV and the Internet ;)

I read a lot. I read true crime, romance novels (even the trashy ones, occasionally), autobiographies/biographies, underground history, legal system....I'll read just about anything, as long as it is written well.

Mostly art books, and mostly for the pictures in them. Occasionally, I like Mystery stories, for the thrills.

I really like Sci-Fi because anything is possible and the ideas are quite entertaining and thought provoking. I also read classic literature because it has stood the test of time.

Books on the Channel 4 TV quiz Countdown (many of which are now, unfortunately, out of print). That is because it would become the first TV quiz I would apply for, and in turn THIS would be because Countdown is the easiest of the lot.

Anything on quantum physics/string theory/astronomy.I especially love Brian Greene's book on string theory "An Elegant Universe". He explains string theory in layman's terms so that anyone can understand.. it's mind-blowing. I also like an occasional fiction book.
