Why do people with an "I don't give a $h*t about anything or anyone" attitude, do better financially & other people desire them more?

You would think that... but as a personal banker you learn that many people talk big... but that's about all they have. (I know I am passing judgement and this isn't true in every case). It's about being money savy and learning to invest properly with what you have not an "I don't give a Sh**" attitude" which would imply irrisponsability. Now, I can see those who were born into a family with money not having the same understanding and value for which was laid in front of them, hense having an I don't care attitude as they did not have to work to earn the money in which they flaunt. Now... when it comes to people desiring those with money... the reason being is that many of us want what others have, we see what they enjoy and want that life or life style... but what they don't see is what happens behind closed doors and the long hours and lost sleep and strees in which it took for them to earn this money.

Those that have this attitude are generally the ones who would step and crush anyone as long as they profit from it. If they could they would sell their families for money. They do better financially because they don't care who they hurt or rob. Most people don't desire them more, people say so in order not to have inconveniences with unscrupulous people. I personally despise them. Regards.

They appear to be desired more. Not always true because these are the ones who climb over and on others on the way up. They often use others with no regard for their welfare or feelings. and may get money but lose friends and respect along the way.

First of all, I'm not sure that is true. However, if one is focused on making money and that is the only goal one cares about, then of course there is no room in his/her life for anything else but achieving that goal. If someone is very successful but doesn't give a sh** about anyone or anything outside him/herself, why would that be desirabe to anyone? :)

Maybe there's a certain type of business person who actually has sociopathic tendencies (quite a few do!) so they're not troubled by a little thing called conscience, don't suffer guilt and therefore can do things that many of us couldn't, without a thought for the consequences. This type of person also knows how to charm people in order to get what they want; approval, status, business, even love, so they appear to be more desirable. But if you live with one you soon realize how thoroughly ruthless, cold and calculating they can be - and far from desirable in fact. They lack the normal emotions that keep the rest of us 'down'.
