I've started saying "lol" out loud... What's going on!! I can't help it, it slips out!! It feels so right, but I know its wrong!! Help!!

I have very nearly said lol in conversation a few times, but up until now have always managed to stop myself. It's because I think what I'm typing as though as I am speaking it, so I go through the same thought process when I'm on messenger. lol :)
