  • When i was younger i had the same issues. This may sound odd but the method of "fake it till you make it" really applied. When i knew i was facing a situation when i would respond or come off as needy i stopped and rethought it and responded the way i thought would be more acceptable and pretty soon i was reacting and thinking in those terms. At first it was forced behavior but soon it became second nature. I now am not needy at all in that way. It was just retraining the way i instantly reacted to what i was feeling at the moment. Try to work on finding out why u feel so needy or emotional and rethinking are those feelings justified.
