With a gun, same as an earing gun. The amount of pain would be relative to how sensitive your nose is. I'm sure it would be more painful than your ear being pierced.

Nose peircings are put in with a gun, but the piercing hooks into your nose so it doesn't fall out because you can't put a back on like an earing. The pain level is determined on how sensitive you are and how well you can handle pain but I can tell you it hurts more than getting your ear pierced

its not that bad its over in like a second obviously it hurts a bit though your getting a needle poked through your nose

I had my nose pierced with a ear piercing gun. It didn't hurt but made my eyes water.

It's better to get your nose pierced with a hollow needle, rather than a gun. It reduces the risk of scars. The gun pokes a hole (ripping the tissue as it goes), where the hollow needle will simply remove a chunk of tissue, and make room for the jewelry. Mine hurt pretty bad as the needle went in and out, but you'll live. Also, you'll need to go to a tattoo shop if you want it done right (they're the only ones who will use a hollow needle).
