I've even heard of adults doing something like that. One adult tried to sneak a peanut butter to a child, and later told the parent she was over reacting!!! They should be prosecuted as if they had threatened with a gun or knife.
-
Prosecution,it is assualt and possible attempted murder if they try and expose them to peanuts. If they are a student and did this at school, expulsion should be the course of action followed by prosecution.
-
To me, it would be like holding a loaded gun to the child..I had a friend die of peanut allergy. The kid should be treated as a criminal in every sense of the word! I can't believe a child could be so dehumanized. It's scary.

Sounds like the bully kids need serious help. I have never heard of this type of bullying, but I guess I STILL learn something new every day. In Canada unfortunately kids are protected by their age, but parents and caregivers as well as the kids who act this way should be dealt with. The kids learned bullying somewhere right?
-
It really depends on the kids age. Most young children won't understand what can happen to the child with the allergy. If it's an older child, and they are aware of the allergy, it should be treated as if they were threatening the child with a weapon.
-
Kids bully for fun and for establishing power over others like popularity- (some teens do it until their adulthood in cyber networks, yes small bullies grow into bigger bullies to establish power wherever they are- these kids need counselling and proper guidiance)
-
I've not heard of it but I can see it is possible, It's amazing how callous children can be. It should be treated very seriously. The defense that they didn't know what they were doing can't apply - the fact that they were doing a very specific thing shows they did know.
-
There should be legal consequences, in many nut allergy cases it is life threatening and should be treated the same as threatening someone with a lethal weapon.
-
strangle the little B*****ds
-
Depends on the age of the kid. I think once you hit 12 or 13 you should be held responsible, but it also is determinate on how the parents educated the child. Ultimately it's on the parents.
-
Bullies should have fingers chopped off one by one for every attack he/she makes on someone. After the tenth attack, move to the feet. After the twentieth attack, move to the noose. No remorse for bullies.
-
I don't thhink it matters what form the bullying takes, bullying is bullying and should be punished and eradicated.
-
Get involved, call the bullying kids parents, contact the school and the authorities if necessary. Simple pranks and threats can result in death and terrible anxiety for the children with the allergies. It also amazes me how many older children who have allergies and do not carry epi-pens. Scary.
