Not capable of it as U know. I too was raised as U & also prayed for the "Wisdom of Solomon"!!! We can both agree that this world is not perfect & I think we can agree that "Science" is nothing more than the "Study" of "Something"(fill in the blank)& Not the "Creation" of ANYTHING NEW. Not that we haven't done a good job "Re-inventing the Wheel", but the more I study Scripture & our World of discoveries through science, the more I have increased my Faith in the Creator as I realize He is God & We will never be God. Satan in Arrogance thought he should be worshiped as God, but he was Also a "Created Being" who can't be greater than his "Creator", God, and neither can we. We not God are responsible for the rotten shape this World is in. Look at where our "Science" has taken us. Has it been able to fix the condition of our "Hearts"??? Why do we kill our own??? Science can't find a cure for that. God in Eternity past provided a solution for this however if we chose to use it. I can't rationalize that or explain it to U, as I'm like U! But then "Science can't Explain or Rationalize the "Singularity" either now can they??? But so what, why do U & I have to, we're dealing with GOD!!! I'm thankfull that he deals with us in Grace from Love. U really can't "Wrap Ur Head around it", it's just the way God is, take advantage of His "Offer". John

god did not lie to you as god does not exist. humans lied to you as they where lied to before and so on. parents lie to us santa clauss, god ,the tooth fairies,children come out of cabbages and so on . when we grow up we find one by one the lies . yet aren't parents supposed to teach us not to lie ? so it is ok no go no religion no heaven no hell no life after death , enjoy this life as it is the only one you will ever have , cheers john

I was raised in a very religious family, where most of the people I respect are Ministers of God. However, I have been plagued with such a lack of what they call "faith" that I have come to the conclusion there is no such thing as God. There is no "lie" involved, other than your own effort to make sense of the "faith" of someone else. If you have none, accept it, and act on what you do have; intelligence, knowledge and truth.

No Skiddo, God has not lied to you. He appreciates rational thought too. But you miss things if you think rational thought can only take one path. For instance, for many years scientists thought the universe had always existed. As long as they limited rational thought to that course of thinking, they missed the Big Bang. When someone allowed himself to think another way, the Big Bang became obvious. God is the same way. As long as you allow yourself to only think in terms of God not existing, you don't allow yourself to see the evidence.

no, you are just following your own path. God will not lie to you, but He will let you go where you will. we have free will and free thought so that we might use it, and if we do not then it is wasted.
