Yeah... once. We ended up having a sordid affair that we kept secret from every one. LOVED IT! Happy it is over, though :)

Yes about 5 years ago. It was my late fiancee. I was very interested in her but was too scared to tell her because first of all she was significantly younger than me and I thought if I professed my love for her she would be freaked out and think I was nothing but some dirty old perv looking for a young piece so I kept my feelings to myself. Then one day she cornered me in the break room at work and asked me what the hell my problem was. I gave her this blank stare like I didn't have a clue what she was talking about. So she says I have been doing everything in my power to let you know that I want us to be more than friends and you have totally ignored me sao what is the problem am I not good enough for you or what? This girl while not necessarily a hottie was way better than what I ever could have dreamed of being with so it was quitea shock when she admitted to me that she was attracted to me and wanted us to be more than just friends. That was the start of a beautiful 2 year storybook romance.

I just had to say look George Clooney, I'm flattered, but I have this wonderful guy who I really love so nothing can happen between us.

Yep, but I was hooked up (married actually). Just said I really appreciate your feelings, but I can't reciprocate the way you want me to (Exact words). Now, I'm dating someone whom I love and I never thought to call the other one. Oh well.

Yes. In fact, the guy went through great lengths to show me. He sent me an email asking me to meet him at this beach late at night, completely anonymous mind you- wasn't going to happen, cause it was late and I didn't have a car. So I had him meet me at a local Denny's, and I brought my best guy friend. Turns out it was this really skeezy and IMO very unattractive guy- I was blown away because I didn't even know him very well, but he had said he wanted to spend his life with me and all the stereotypical stalker talk. I was nice and told him that I wasn't interested. The next day he borrowed my SLC Punk video and I never saw him again. It was flattering, don't get me wrong- but totally unexpected.

yup a senior when i was a sophmore...it was... odd i guess, but i kinda liked him...so we had a "thing" but didn't date until like 3 months later when i realized i didn't like him like that... i told him...about 4-5 months later after his feelings were supposedly on and off i thought he was over me... then he professed how much he liked me...it definately caught me offguard, so then i told him i wasn't quite over a different guy [truth] and that it would be hard with him in college [truth] and i would be really busy [truth]... so then over the summer i thought it was done...until band camp [im in colorguard, and he was an instructor] in like oct/nov he once again professed his liking of me..."possibly love" [actual word] left me a 4 minute message on my phone telling me all the things he liked about me [quite the charmer] and how he cant get me off his mind... recently he had a gf but they broke up about 2 weeks later and he's back to me... it's been crazy stuff and that was a WAY shortened version btw but i always tried to handle it calmly and tell him that we could always be friends and hang out. yup thats my story

I valued the friendship so I tried to ignore it, which was a big mistake. It's best to address it so you don't end up with problems and regrets. My failure to properly respond only hurt us both, and now we can't even talk at all.

Yes, unfortunately. Since I married my Jr. High sweetheart, I wasn't aware of signals that I interpreted as interest in my kid (3rd grade)as interest in me. He was unusually good at hiding his true feelings about a lot of things. He asked me to help on a weekend using a friend's cell phone. I could tell he was trying to cover up the reason for the call O-o. I thought of an excuse. After about 1 1/2 weeks (so he "hopefully" wouldn't connect the 2), I told him someone told me that people in the school's office were gossiping, and we needed to not be seen together unless in a group. This allowed him a graceful exit, and we chose to leave the school, as it was small and my kid would've had him as a teacher for several classes. I'm somewhat less friendly now.:/
