When we burn ourselves while drinking a coffee, do we blame ourselves for not testing the temperature first? No, usually we blame the person who served the piping hot coffee. . We walk off a ledge and get bruised up. Do we blame ourselves for not watching where we were going? No, we usually blame the builder for not putting up railings or a barricade. . It is a lot easier to blame someone else for our actions, because superficially, it makes us look more responsible. Really though, we are only conditioning ourselves to be less responsible. . This is only a generalisation. Not everybody is like this.
