On back of philips television theres a small box with 2 screws do u have 2 open it for any thing what is it on there for

I have a 60inch philips that is about 4 years old. The problem is occationaly, when I am watching it, the screen goes black and I loose sound for about 30-60 seconds. When it comes on the mute icon appears for about 5 sec then every things fine any help

I hook up my new lcd tv with my dvd. it plays but the picture is black and white. my dvd works well with my old tv. why is thid so?

You're reading To turn on my Philips 50p8341 I hold the power button in until I hear a crackling noise. Does not always work and seems to be getting worse. Picture and sound are very good once the set is on. Any ideas how to fix?
