  • Yes it could be. However without seeing the lump and the Cat I can not say that it IS that. You can either rush to the Vet now - if you are very worried, or if they are other symptoms. Or you can wait 24 hours and see how it develops. If the cat starts vomiting, or loses its appetite, or misses the litter box or starts acting 'different' take it to a vet. You might be able to move the fur to the side and look at the skin - see if it is a sting or bite or possible wound.
  • Hey my cat has the same thing. Just discovered it today when i had to give her a bath cause she ran intoo some oil in the garage so i bathed her right away as i was giveing her this bath this lump poped and started to spill out brown goowy stuff so i figured like a pimp i dont want any of this stuff to stay inside so i did my best to take it all out she bled alittle after i got it all out but the lump is still there i dont have very much money for a vet shes a rescue in florida i found her after hurricane charley hit orlando so i kept her since please help thanks
