I guess you mean the energy saving ones, no I have 3 and none of them have burned out yet.

Yes. Two of them in the same light fixture. The bulbs are enclosed and I think the heat affected them and very much shortened thier lifespan. Most of my bulbs are now CFLs (Compact Flouescent Lamp - swirl) or regular flourescent. I read an article that said the original CFL bulbs were european and very dependable but expensive. Most of the CFL bulbs we find today are made in countries like China and lack the quality of the European bulbs so dont last 10 years like people are led to believe. They are however cheaper.

Yes we have them in most of our light fixtures. I am not sure if they are saving us money or not because they cost alot. We have had a few burn out.
