Not all Christians deny the Theory of Evolution, many of them are quite happy with the thought that God created the situation for evolution to take place. Only those with extreme views that are not representative of mainstream thought have total belief in Creationism and deny any possibility of evolution.

It's impossible to accurately generalise for an answer to that question. Some Christians accept it. Some don't accept it because it contradicts their Faith. Some don't accept it because they believe it isn't supported by evidence. Some don't accept it because they believe it is contradicted by evidence (in favour of intelligent design). I'm sure some have other reasons still, but I can't think of them right now.

How can a person deny that something's a theory?

Will speak for myself. I am a Christian, and believe in evolution. Not necessarily like The Origin of Man stated, but no doubt that even a perfect God would start with a single cell, and work from there. I truly, as a Christian, believe there is a middle ground to this one.

No one in their right mind would deny a fact established beyond doubt, no matter what any book said scripture or non scripture. However, the theory of evolution is NOT, at least for now, a fact established beyond doubt. It still has a lot of questions unanswered. It is no point turning to the Bible to show the deficiencies in the theory of evolution because the Bible itself is, unfortunately, scientifically deficient in some of its statements. It would not be very objective to turn to our own opinion either because they might be biased one way or the other. True Christians have science and the Bible to back their devolutionary beliefs. As crazy as the Bible sometimes sounds, it takes more faith to believe in evolution, the theory of a man who he himself never had a science degree, being a seminary dropout. Also, it is known that all but one or two ideas of Darwin himself are now discarded. At the rate Evolutionists are going, it will take as long to perfect their theory that it allegedly did for a single celled organism to evolve into a human being.
