If you'r a christian is it wrong to study and think is it possiable of reincarnation? Maybe God's trying to teach you something on you'r journey?

I attended a psychic gathering last night. It was my first time at something of this nature. The medium explained that the soul never dies, and is reincarnated. He didn't refer to God as God, but referred to him as The Creator. He said, we may have lived many lives,and that death is just the beginning of a new journey of life. I don't feel that believing in reincarnation is wrong at all. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs,Christian or not. I believe reincarnation to be comforting. Knowing, that when we leave this earth, we don't cease to be, but our souls embark on a new adventure.
