Yeah i would actually..even if it may sound morbid, i'm curious about things like that. No there wouldn't be any particular method.

No. I am not opposed to the death penalty, but no matter how heinous a crime one commits, no matter how much they truly deserve it, the taking of a human life is a serious, solemn event and should not be marginalized or commercialized. Now, I believe certain executions should be broadcast (free-of-charge) as I feel that actually seeing a criminal die would make the death penalty more of a deterrent than a mere paragraph in a newspaper or a 30-second blurb on the 11 o'clock news.

No. I am against the death penalty.

No. I am not against the death penalty for certain crimes, but it is enough that the person is paying with his/her life..there is no need to make a spectacle of it.

No, I would not. However, I do feel they should be able to be viewed. Not to mock the person but to show what happens when you choose to cross the line of humanity. I hate that we have to have the DP. I ride that line strongly in not knowing which way to swing but I do think that due to the appeals processes (which I support) and the lack of legal help that helps keep them on death row for years, people tend to forget the victims. We tend to watch the perps sit and live while the victim/s are no longer here and that viewing would remind people why we have to have the death penalty because sitting them on death row for years definitely does NOT deter others from killing and the like but the public viewings would in my opinion.

I'd watch an execution in person if it were someone who had molested or murdered one of my children (but then I'd probably be performing that execution). Otherwise, no thanks.

I seem to remember quite a few years ago they televised an execution in Washington State. They didn't show the actual exectuction just before and just after. Does anyone remember that?
