What is he selling?
-
No, and not for that fact that he is selling something. Only for the fact that he is a HE.
-
It depends what kind of shoes he's wearing...:P
-
Oh hell no.
-
I don't..that's why Jim or my son does the negotiating..they're smarter than I am and more patient..I get ticked off very easily when I feel I am being patronized..."there there little lady don't you worry your pretty little about this..us guys will handle it"...my A**..so I let them handle stuff..if they need my input they come find me..it's not worth the aggravation! :(

Salesman are just people some are trustworthy some are not (I'm a salesman :)
-
Some I do and some I don't. People are different and salesmen, being people can have different motives.

Be careful. Just make sure you write down all the questions you can think of before seening him/her. They usually do not mention anything that would detract from the sale, like "this car had an engine problem and it was overhauled under warranty-of course we did it as cheaply as possible". I trust some, but these are personal friends who only point me in the right direction. Oh, women sales women are the same. The training is the same.

I am a sales man. I understand what you are saying, but think most sales people are generally honest.
-
Yeah why not, they're just doing their job. Buying anything from them is another issue though.
-
I would not have to deal with him, I am easy to convince into buying whatever. My husband would do it and he does trust some of them depending on the salesman's attitude. Regards.
-
Good question. I know that like everyone else, he needs to keep the light on at home. So take what he says with a grain of salt. But if you use common sense you should be ok. I've come across some very resourceful and honest sales people. I know sales is not so much about the product but relationship building.

Everytime I buy a car I do, I research used cars for the blue book and trade in prices and have a grand plan to walk into the dealer being very knowledgeable and firm and I end settling for a very little off, and falling for it when they tell me I'm getting the best price.

"It really depends on the person". If you mean door to door salesman, probably not, especially if they carry brochures/tracts!
