Heat-styling is never good for hair. You may have to choose between long hair and straight hair. If you straighten daily, I'd recommend stretching the time between straightening. Hair can actually boil from inside out with heat-styling, so deep conditioning treatments won't be as useful as they sound when combined with daily straightening. You could try trims to cut off the damage, but with the constant abuse, it probably won't help. If you must use heat, use the lowest possible setting. When using a blow dryer, keep the nozzle several (at least six) inches away from your head to minimize the exposure to heat. Prenatal vitamins will only help if you weren't getting key vitamins and minerals into your diet in the first place, but they won't make your hair grow faster than it does naturally. That's up to genetics.

Popular answer for a popular question. "Hair is an appendage of the skin, it's a byproduct. There are to ways to get your hair to grow 'faster'. Consume more nutrients/eat more or stimulate the blood flow to your scalp by massaging it. There are oils to aid this but a basic household one that can be washed out will work just fine. By increasing the blood flow to the bulb of the hair you will be feeding it nutrients that nourish the hair which in turn 'speeds' up hair growth."
