  • Ewwww, that's weird! ; )
  • Yes, I have...I felt really bad, but I just could NOT tell!
  • Yeah, a cashier at the local supermarket. I thought it was a guy but how many guys are named Kristen? Sometimes name badges aren't such a good thing.
  • Ive done it before...with the stage manager cause he was wearin a dress imitating the drama teacher....it was funny though....our drama department is crazy
  • The third person in this commercial.
  • I've seen some bizar individuals with mustaches and have just been stumped to their gender
  • Yeah, It's hard especially when it happens at your work place and you don't know if you should say mam or sir when you ask if they need help or need anything.
  • I can only remember one person like that. When I was a teenager, some person from some church used to visit my mom. I could not tell whether it was a man trying to look like a woman, or a woman trying to look like a man. I couldn't even tell by the voice.
  • Yes, I had that problem about a month ago. As it turned out it was a man but I didn't know and wasn't sure how or if I should ask? Well, he asked me for the Restroom key on this particular day and so I thought about it quickly and then set out both the Mens and Womens Restroom keys and he muttered something to himself like "I'm a Man." Well, then a few weeks later he came in again and he has medium length hair,is wearing a skirt and when I looked at his face he was wearing rouge, eyeshadow and mascara! Also, he had a purse with him.
  • Yes, we call those ones PAT
  • Yes, I was staring like that at one person in my college. It was a girl, but I only found out because I heard her name, which was clearly a girl's name. It's weird, first time you look you think "It's a guy" and then a second later you think "Nooo, it's a girl", and then "Nah, it's a guy". And it goes on forever.
  • Yes once at a rave...it was wearing soooo much makeup, I couldn't tell what on earth it was,,,
  • yeah, several times and I had to have someone of "their gender" handwand them... made it worse that their ticket had a unisex name.
  • I have, and I think that the He/She doesn't mind the attention. We had a temp in the office for a week, and he was a guy, but it was kinda sad and he didn't pull ti off to well. I felt sorry for he/she, Carol, but I'm that way. I loved the movie Birdcage.
  • Have you ever BEEN the person being stared at?
  • Yep lol
  • So what do you call that transgender stuff?
  • I have a female friend who is quite masculine looking, and particularly so when she's wearing sweats or jeans with a sweats top. She walked into the ladies room one day and was confronted with an over-reacting screeching woman..."THIS IS THE LADIES ROOM...GET OUT!!!!" Barbara simply lifted her sweat shirt to flash the lady her reasonably sized, un-covered breasts, saying "Chill out, lady, I'm a girl!" Knowing Barb, I'm surprised that lady didn't get a more "educational" verbal reaction! :-) The AH woman simply walked out of the ladies room with a "humph"...without even as much as an apology.
  • Lol. Yes. I was working in a shop, doing stocking, and IT asked for the hygine section. I didnt know whether to bring them to the male or female section. I just started mumbling and said i needed to go on my break and id get someone for IT.
