  • Sure do -- just because I want to make sure payroll didn't make any mistakes (hey, it happens!)
  • Yes, to make sure it's correct and verify other information (vacation time left, ytd stuff etc)
  • No. I check the amount deposited into my account.
  • Yeah but mostly because it also has my leave on it and I make sure they are up to date with it. Also we are on a 26 pay period year. That means there are 2 months with three pay periods. During the third pay period we shouldn't have any deductions for our 401k, insurance, etc. They forget that every time and it doesn't end up going anywhere because the people who recieve it electronically aren't looking for it. Also I get bonuses at random sometimes. In the long run if you get tame with your pay they might start skimming 25 cents here and there and you may never notice. I got a 5000 dollar raise and if I didn't save my stubs and do the math at the end of the year I wouldn't have noticed the screwed me out of 1000 of it.
