What format is the music you've downloaded?--most burners support only .mp3, .wav, .wma, and another few common audio types. If you're using windows media player to burn, .wma may be the only format that will work. Also, make sure your cd/dvd rom supports burning--normal roms do not. And lastly, blank cd's or dvd's are useless if the first burn attempt fails--corrupt data has alreay been written onto them and might-as-well be recycled or thrown away.
