I'm not a supporter of McCain's but I think too much was made about his "gook" comment because I don't think it's part of his overall mindset (i.e., he was in a North Vietnamese prison camp). I would hope that non-Obama people would put his comment in some sort of similar perspective.

His comments are real meaningless. He doesn't live in a small town, nor has he ever. Small towns have a life and mindset of their own. He just ASPIRES to know something that he's talking about for political purposes, but he's full of crap.

he's saying whatever he thinks will get him votes. this time perhaps it was he who "misspoke"

prety much all politicians view isn't it? That's the impression we get up here.

my take, he's more 'bitter' with the working class, taxpayers,(carries a big partial chip) for not wanting to take care and all responsibilty for the white and black 'ghettos' and giving them free rides... small town, common sense, hard working taxpayers, is what America is and always has been , ABOUT...WE have a right to be BITTER , at him, government and their TAXES......

What's wrong with calling a spade a spade?

I live in the country between two small towns. Honestly...I know the people who he is talking about. We aren't all like that but many are. Stow the offense...the remarks are not that far off.
