Absolutely not, if you don't mind pushing 60 while you have a kid graduating from high school.

not at all, physically that is, a lot of women start having first babies much later in life now, so 39 age wise is not an issue

No, it's not. It does have a little more risk attached but you are certainly not 'past it'. Knock yourself out!

Will you have more obstacles than a twenty-something? Yes. Is it completely out of the question? Not neccessarily.

I suggest you consult with a fertility specialist to determine the answer to your question. Because of your age, you would be eligible to see one.

As far as I know, it is totally possible. However, you may be at higher risk for miscarriages, and genetic diseases such as Downs Syndrome. As Taciturnu says, you should see a fertility specialist, and probably your OB/GYN to discuss it and possibly run some tests. I wish you good luck!

MY AUNTY IS 45 SHES JUST HAD A BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL, ITS NOT IMPOSSIBBLE, BUT THERE MAY BE SOME DIFFICULTYS, BEING OLDER YOU WILL BE ALOT MORE PROTECTIVE AAND THIS WAY A CHILD MAY GROW UP TO DISLIKE WHAT YOU DO, ALSO IF THE CHILD IS NOT HAPPY WITH YOU BEING OLDER THAN MOST MOTHERS, THE CHILD MAY BE BULLIED BUT NOTHING A BIT OF LOVE AND CARE CANT HELP XXXX GOOD LUCK
