Have you ever been to a pro golf tournament? If so, which tournament, what course, and who did you follow around?

Yeah, my ex hubby was a scratch golfer and when we lived in South Africa he took me to 'Sun City' to watch a tournament..i cant even remember the name of it i think it was the 'Million dollar golf challenge' now called the Nedbank Challenge, that was about 18 years ago... we followed Nick Faldo around (my son Nicholas born in 1991 was named after him) and im sure David Frost won the tournament.

Yep. Went last year to the Australian PGA Championship at the Hyatt Regency Coolum in Queensland Australia. Followed Adam Scott and Nick O'hern around. And went to the same event in 2003 and followed Greg Norman. Lleyton Hewitt (tennis) was his caddie for that tournament.

I attended the US Open at Shinnecock Hills GC (Southampton, NY) in 1995...I was stringing (freelance reporting for non-local newspapers) on 2 golfers - Steve Stricker, for a paper in Long Beach, CA, and Ted Tryba, for the Times-Leader of Wilkes-Barre, PA... it was very exciting, but also hectic and stressful to follow 2 different players, get their quotes, and submit my stories before deadline...
