because easy, Microsoft games are made for multiplayer. Even if they do suck, and its a low budget game. they just throw in a campaign because what game doesn't have one?

They know you'll lose interest and find another game in 2 weeks anyway, so what do they care?

It's another market and lot's of people love the multiplayer aspects of games. I hate the online achievements since I'm stuck with satellite internet, DSl runs to within a couple miles of my house but hell I own 60 acres lol. It is really annoying though not being able to get to 1000 achievement points on each game though due to not being able to play the multiplayer

man, i have the same exact problem, you buy a game that had a decent story (or not) and no one plays it online, its ridiculous
