There is an invisible line that exists between building a friendly rapport with a client and developing a relationship on another level. If the line was crossed unintentionally, then there would be nothing to be too embarrassed about. However awkward situations do arise which may be unfamiliar, and which might cause alarm to either party. To rectify the situation, the tutor should take steps to improve their professionalism. This would involve making sure that both parties know where the line is.
