  • By my count there are 329,010 accounts at AB which includes people who haven't been active in quite awhile, test accounts, and perhaps some bots(?). My guess is about 320,000.
  • Registered users are just part of the story--lots of people 'use' Answerbag by viewing pages here without having to be registered. Over three million unique visitors per month, last time Joel mentioned it ;)
  • Use it or have used it or have signed up for it. If by using it you mean at least once a weak I'd hazard a guess at 50,000
  • I'd say about 5,000-10,000 on a regular basis.
  • all of them
  • Isn't it just over 700000?

  • About 700,0000 registered users I would think about 10,000 of those are active.
  • half-million at least.

  • 1) At least the 1000 users on the last week most points leaderboard can be considered active users. Last week, you needed 112 points per week to come into this leaderboard: http://www.answerbag.com/stats?page=40&board=1&period=lastweek 2) Since Mar 9, 2009, we reached the amount of 900000 user accounts: http://www.answerbag.com/profile/?id=900000 However, most of those accounts are not used, people just open those accounts for a few questions and are never seen again. 3) I guess there could be about 10000 regular users at the moment. Here a statistic about the last week most points leaderboard with rank and point amount: 1 9953 26 2983 51 2075 76 1662 101 1354 126 1156 151 991 176 894 201 794 226 714 251 640 276 598 301 551 326 513 351 474 376 436 401 402 426 373 451 352 476 326 501 306 526 288 551 273 576 254 601 241 626 226 651 215 676 203 701 194 726 185 751 176 776 170 801 162 826 156 851 149 876 143 901 138 926 130 951 123 976 118 1000 112 Here a diagram for this (please click for a better view):
