Plannet Parenthood generally does good work. Straight away, the video says that the call was staged! It was a fake call! This was a sting operation run by the police, which I have a big problem with. It's called entrapment. But even if it had been a real call, I respect that PP respected the caller's confidentiality, even in direct disobedience to the law. Here's a hypothetical scenario for you to consider: Suppose hypothetically, that Mormonism was declared illegal in the US, and anyone calling any kind of support group or psychologist professing to be Mormon had to be reported to the police so that a government agent could come to your home to deprogram you? By law, you couldn't even make a phone call to a doctor to ask questions without being fingered and persecuted for your faith! I bet you'd scream bloody murder, Glenn! I bet you'd consider it a blessing to find a doctor that respected your faith and refused to obey the law and report you for reprogramming. Now, the clinic in question even told the girl that they'd have to report it to the police if she came in person asking for an abortion; so they ARE obeying the law. Now Glenn, I agree with your tacit assumption that there is something seriously wrong with a "relationship" between a 22 y/o and a 13 y/o. OTOH, shall we talk about Joseph Smith's polygamy and pedophelia? Or how about priests pedophilia? Or Mormons slaughtering innocent travelers passing through "their" territory?

This is obviously because you are anti abortion. This is a very biased view... I wonder if you or someone you know was raped... If you could emotional handle carrying that child for nine months and relive that moment in time over and over again. There are other ways to prosecute the people who have raped the girl, even from the aborted fetus.

I think that your view may be biased on this due to your stance on the issue of abortion... however, I can accept that there are a few instances in which what you describe has occured, and that is generally wrong. But I think that most of these cases are reported, and that such organisations do good work. It is a very grey area with a lot of dangerous ground... there are some instances when confidenciality overrides the need for reporting, it can be up to the individual and is a difficult call for the medcical staff to make.... I think it would depend on the age of the people involved etc...

How do you feel that the Roman Catholic Church has willingly covered up the fact that priests throughout the nation sexually abuse minors? Shall we ban this religion???
