In Canada, do you need a parent/guardian to register for high school, what do you do if you're on your own?

    No I don't think you do, but you would have to have proof from Social Services I think. My boyfriend went to school with a kid that lived on his own and went to school, Social Assistance helped him with all his bills groceries ect. But he had to maintain a high grade point average and he also worked a part time job. He couldn't miss school or work without a doctors note or his social assistance would be cut off.
