Those sort of dreams are ones of panic and frustration. If someones steals our only means of transportation, our world would change overnight. I believe it is more of someone has taken something from her, rendering her defensless and lost. Could be abandonment issues? Could be fear of losing control (when we drive we have total control). But as I said it depends on the "feeling" of the dream, is she sad, scared, feeling alone, no control? She should write it down every time she has it, and see if anything differs and each time to write down her feeling when the dream woke her.

Possibly she's worried that it will get stolen in reality.

I keep having this type of dream too. Its disconcerting to say the least!! What does her car symbolise to her? For me its control and independence...freedom. I've been having this dream since I got married 6 months ago. Its been a massive adjustment for me after being single again for 5 yrs. I know that the worst thing for me would be to lose my independence and individuality.....perhaps my car being stolen represents these fears?? i know I felt bereft and sad ain the dream. I can only speak for myself and how things are in my life...but I would guess that there's some sort of control/independence/identity issue going on for her.

Any kind of mode of transportation symbolizes control and advancement or direction in life. Her car gets stolen= someone else has forcefully taken control of her life. Not just taken control but taken from her. Whats her current relationshihp situation? Is she happy? Does she like her job? Could be she feels her job is taking over her life. She has to be honest to undertsand what the symbol means. Does she know who stole the car? I recently moved to a new city and have been searching for work for almost two years. I often had dreams I was in the passenger seat or back seat of a car, and the car would stall or veer off the road. Once I figured it out they stopped.

What does the car symbolize to her? Perhaps she feels some how her "freedom" or independence will be taken from her.

I just had a dream last night that my car was stolen by a couple theifs in a shopping center parking lot at night. I felt abandoned and scared when I went out into the parking lot and couldn't find my car. My car represents reliability and dependability to me.

For me, I think the stolen car represents distrust of an individual. I have been cooresponding with a man in another state with the intention of getting to know him on a serious level. Last night, he canceled our phone call and stated that he had a headache and had to lie down in the dark. I tried to call him so that we could pray together for healing, but he wouldn't answert my calls-he would only text message me. This behavior left me very suspicious of him.

So... my suggestion would be to think about relationships and whether they are creating distrust and undue anxiety.
