If you cut a piece of hemp rope and put it in a pipe and smoke it, will you get high? Or do you just have to climb the rope to get high?

hemp doesn't have enough ...what ever makes you high from pot to do much of anything, i report i read said you would have to smoke a telephone pole worth of it to get anything out of it

You would get such a headache you'd want to knock yourself in the head just to end it. They used to grow industrial hemp around here and it still grows wild in the ditches. The local farmers around here derive much amusement from watching one generation after another of stoner high school kids come upon this "stash," smoke it, and reel out the bushes with the world's worst headache. Industrial hemp is not weed.

There are many different types of hemp. Only one, cannabis sativa, has narcotic effects. Hemp of several types has been used for clothing for thousands of years. Most of the sails in the past were hemp.

Try to stop coughing, before you try to climb the rope. It's a different type of hemp, I believe.

Even though this is a obvious "buzz" related question I am going to take some interest to it. The idea behind Cannabis type plants is they all have a fairly well distributed amount of THC. The problem or solution deppending on where your viewing from is when it is harvested it is intentionaly hung upside down and gravity actually pushes the syrum which host the thc closer to the top (aka leaves) of the plant. Back to hemp though hemp is also manufactured but they intentionaly cure out the thc in the process that cures the hemp. You may not know this but "burlap sacks" are made from hemp. So dont go smoke burlap or hemp rope cause no it will not get you high.....but it might make you puke which could be fun deppending on where youre at at the time
