My friend doesnt like my girlfriend because she has a bad record he doesnt like her to be around me because she had some issues with drugs i feel that our friendship is getting bad because iam with her but i love her what should i do her or my friend

the magic words here are " was involved"..past tense, your friend needs to get a grip on his/her self as I am sure his/her past is not squeaky clean either ...you need to stand up for your girl friend (if you love her) and put this friend in there place, just stick with your girlfriend and see what happens and don't see your so called friend for awhile

it's not up to your friend whether or not your girl is good enough for you, that's your decision. if she has since reformed her drug using ways, and is someone who makes you happy, then it's your friend who needs to wise up and grow up. people who base opinions on a person's past, verses how the person is today are closed minded individuals. also, there may be some jealousy behind this. did you and your friend hang out a lot b/f your girl came into the picture? he may just be looking for an out for you to get back into his life the way it used to be when you had more free time for him. another thought, since i see that his main issue is her being around his wife is that perhaps his wife has past drug issues and he is fearful that there would be an influential problem. or maybe she is very conservativea and he's trying to prevent a big issue from arrising between the two of them. there are so many reasons why he may be feeling the way he does, but the long and short of it is that she's your girlfriend not his and it's not up to him whether or not she stays or goes. period.

Maybe he really likes her and is playing a game. Seems logical enough. In any sense you love someone for who they are, not what they used to be. He wouldn't like if you became involved in a relationship he was trying to maintain if it were with someone he loved. Some people don't understand until put in that predicament. Good luck.

hi, fortunatly my boifriends friends all like me but if one of them didnt, well with my boyfriend hed tell me that i should stop doing drugs because he finds it unattractive (i have in the past have had a problem with drugs as well, but after my friend odeed and died i quit) and if she doesnt then she doenst care and break up with her. but ur friend shouldnt control who u date.
