Just curious, I am a 15 year old guy who would like to date a 17 year old mormon girl (and i will be turning 16 this year, i am a sophomore and she is a junior). Number one, is this allowed in this religion? 2, is it considered fine to date someone older

Dating at younger than 16 is not advised, but it is also not forbidden. There is not even a general advisory regarding age differences.

She is allowed to date out of her religion, but it is prefered that she doesn't , and it is prefered to date people after their 16 becuase they wan't the people they date to have the same standereds as themselves.

Age I guess can be okay, cause i just got married to a 22 year old and im barely going to become 19. But other than that, make sure you know who you are dealing with. I dont know mormons but if you feel uncomfortable i say no.

LdS are strongly encouraged to marry within the faith. LdS are strongly encouraged to only date people with high moral standards. There is an emphasis on only dating other Mormons, but this is more a guideline than a commandment.

i think that you should go for it. i am a 16 year old girl dating an 18 year old mormon boy. most likely there wont be any problems, but physically dont go to far and make sure that you understand her boundries

You'll probably have more problems because of Mormon issues than age issues. I went out with a Senior girl when I was a Sophomore. It was great.
