If the caravan is small...and I know all the people well.>>> OK, we need a translation, here. In the states, a "caravan" trip means a group of campers/RV's on a trip together. You call the RV's themselves caravans.

We had a caravan until we emigrated then we sold it. We both miss it very much as we had some wonderful weekends away and full holidays. The friendliness and camaraderie of fellow caravanners is great.

kids love them!!! we took our kids on a really expensive holiday to greece and then the next year we went 50 miles away in a caravan and we gave them a choice th coose between the holiday in greece and the caravan holiday in norfolk, and guess what the answer was! and the holiday in norfolk was 90 % cheaper than greece! they are really fun :)

It wasn't exactly a holiday..but when my son moved from California to Denver a few years ago, we "caravaned" there..He hired a large truck to move his belongings, Old School drove my son's car, and Jim and I borrowed a trailer to haul my son's motorcycle. The University gave him a moving allowance so our gas, motel room and food was paid for by the University of Denver..it was a distance of 1000 miles and we left early Sunday morning and drove into Denver early Monday evening..it was so much fun! :)

I love a caravan holiday! My parents took us all over the UK when we were little, we always stayed on Caravan parks. Now I often go on holiday in the UK with my family and friends. I love going North towards the Lakes, and always stay at a South Lakeland Parks http://www.slholidays.co.uk).

I love them! When we were little my parents always took us on Caravan holidays and we have a great time. I now try and take my family on at least one caravan or Lodge cabin holiday a year, usually staying in a South Lakeland Holidays Park, which are fab. We always have a wonderful time.
