Someone very close to me just found out that she may be the product of incest. She was told that the man she thought was her father is not related to her. As if that wasn't bad enough, her mother said the she does not know for sure who her biological father is. She said that the father is either a junkie sleezebag or her mother's cousin. She is devastated and does not know how to deal with this.

I know of two first cousins who married, and they had 2 children. Both children are perfectly normal. I didn't know these people were cousins. They moved to our town, and one night the woman told me that she and her husband were first cousins. It seemed weird, but they seemed happy, and their kids are normal.
