  • Personally, I think 'God's' word possibly came from a Higher Source whose origins we are unaware of (could be scientists from another planet?). And, the idea was to create hierarchical thinking so that people would be more easily governed, since we were probably quite undeveloped/uncivilized/ignorant way back when... So, if the people believed an invisible all-powerful God was demanding respect and adoration they were more likey to respect and 'adore' His representatives here on earth? Even now, it's likely that most people need governing, they may even fear independence. But I don't think God created us just for that reason - unless we were produced in a laboratory test-tube, and He really fertilized more primitive man's seed? So, He would love us as His children and expect the same back? Crazy? Or possible?
  • Our true God didn't create humans to be worshipers, but many who know him choose to do so out of appreciation. The gods of christianity, judaism, and islam are false Gods. Our true creator, wants us to achieve Godhead like himself. He decided to teach us how to become like him when others wanted us destroyed.
  • You're right! I bet he's really insecure, so that's why he did it.
  • FFS, how many times do I have to say it? There is no friggin god.
  • The short answer to the question “why did God create us?” is “for His pleasure.” Revelation 4:11 says, “Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created.” Colossians 1:16 reiterates the point: “All things were created by Him and for Him.”
  • Real gods don't need to be worshipped. FAKE ones do.
  • The Life that sustains us is His.
  • if that's all he wanted, that would be pretty selfish, don't you think? i don't know.
  • Why would he need it? Isn't that being a little egotistic. HE'S BREAKIN' THE LAW! NO PRIDE! In reality, I have no idea.
  • Worship does not mean bowing and scraping before some august personage, as many seem to think. Worship is communion. I'm not a Christian; but if I were, I'd respond by saying that God created man for fellowship, i.e., to love and be loved by him. That's what worship means. Putting a deity up on a pedestal and trembling before him pushes him AWAY; a deity of love would do the opposite: get as close to man as possible, draw him in to himself, embrace him. So many people who ask questions like this don't really stop and think; and that's what makes me think they really don't care about an answer and just want to ridicule.
  • there is no god, so he didnt do sh$t.
  • No. This is not the reason god created human. No human is forced to pray...!!! It is your wish whether you wan't to pray or not. Humans pray to god by their own wish,to show love, devotion and faith...If you wan't to,you can and if you don't wan't to,don't!! God isn't forcing you to,is he?? Loads of love, Devil
