Wasn't the last British woman to top the charts Madonna? I just watched the Bleeding Love video. She's talented, but nothing stands out. She's average at best.

i'm British and i think she's going to be huge in USA. probably the best singer ever out Of the UK and the most talented artist with the least diva-like attitude in the world. Refreshing! Those that know little of her, you soon will. Good for her she deserves huge success.

I've seen her video on VH1. She fits into that female singer category and reminds me of singers like Corinne Bailey Rae. Talented, but she doesn't set herself apart from the crowd.

She has been overplayed already to the point her voice starts to make you cringe everytime you hear it, she won't be iconic, but she might be able to get a few more hits, because people in general have a bad taste in music
