The "Computer Reset" is kinda a myth. You can disconnect the battery and leave it disconnected for 10 minutes or so, but this really has no effect. If you have a check engine light you need to either fix the problem which will eventually reset the light or have someone with a scan tool hook up to the the vehicle and clear the codes.
Disconnect the Negative Battery Terminal for 5 min. then reattach. Or go to Auto Zone & have it put on their Scan Tool. John

have a 1991 chev cavalier, engine died going down road,put new ecm in, still no spark to plugs, engine is 2.0 4cyl has coil pacs, any ideas
